Heads of Departments/Schools are busy people, so we’ve put all the information they might need in one place. This is the department homepage, and requires permissions to access. To determine whether you have HoD access to a department, check your permissions on your own homepage.
To see your permissions, open your homepage by clicking the Yourname’s home link (a) in the header bar, then go to the Toolkits and permissions tab (b). If you have faculty management permissions, links to the departments in that faculty (c) will be listed in the first column. Individual department links for HoDs are listed at the bottom of the second column (d). Clicking on these links will open your departmental homepage.
I don’t have HoD access but I should … what can I do?
Current HoDs, faculty managers, and superusers are able to edit the list of people able to see the department page. Please contact the relevant person in your department to add you, or contact us for help.
